GP news: St Patrick’s launches new strategy for 2023 to 2027

At St Patrick’s Mental Health Services, we recently launched our new five-year organisational strategy.

The Future in Mind is our strategy for 2023 to 2027.

With a significant shift in how mental healthcare is being delivered, as well as growing demands on mental health services across Ireland, The Future in Mind outlines a number of ways we will play our part in responding to challenges facing services.

In this strategic period, we will:

  • modernise our inpatient centres and facilities
  • increase our reach by enhancing our Homecare and remote care services
  • grow our day programmes and services
  • found a world-first national centre for mentally healthy living, through which we will develop interactive, educational programmes which are underpinned by best practice in promoting mental health
  • develop an international research centre to expand our research and academic work
  • set up a training centre that is dedicated to progressing and advancing the skills of people who work in mental healthcare.

You can see more on The Future in Mind below, or learn more about our strategy here.
