Supporting people with eating disorders
The Psychology Department here at St Patrick's Mental Health Services (SPMHS) is now accepting referrals for CFT-E, which is a closed group that offers comprehensive psychological therapy for people who can manage recovery from their eating disorder in the community.
The upcoming cycle will commence on 22 March 2023, with psychoeducation sessions running on 25 January or 22 February. The final aftercare session will be on 6 December 2023.
If you have any queries regarding a patient's suitability for the CFT-E programme, please contact:
- Adjunct Professor Clodagh Dowling, Director of Psychology at SPMHS and Clinical Lead of CFT-E, by calling 01 249 3683
- Dr Fionnuala McEnery, Senior Clinical Psychologist on 01 249 3509
- Dr Clíona Hallissey, Senior Clinical Psychologist on 01 249 3289.
Please note that, upon receipt, all referrals will be processed by our Day Services for insurance clearance purposes. The programme coordinator will contact the person directly with an appointment for assessment or a start date. It is important to note that, because these day programmes are closed groups, waiting lists are likely to be formed.
If you have any queries regarding a referral to our services, please contact our Referral and Assessment Service on 01 249 3635. You can make a referral directly through our eReferral system or by accessing a referral form here on our website.
