Referrals for adolescent services

At St Patrick’s Mental Health Services (SPMHS), we provide comprehensive adolescent mental healthcare services.

Our services for young people include inpatient care at Willow Grove Adolescent Unit in Dublin 8; an Homecare service; and community care through our Adolescent Dean Clinic and Dean Clinic Cork.

Willow Grove is a national service and accepts referrals from GPs and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

If you feel that a young patient may need specialist assessment and treatment, you can refer them by using our adolescent referral forms available here. Once we receive this referral, it will be reviewed by the adolescent referrals team and a response provided.

For more information on our adolescent services, including the services provided, mental health difficulties treated, and how to refer to a service, you can access two brochures on our services, specifically designed with information for referrers, below.

SPMHS is an independent, not-for-profit organisation, and we are not in receipt of government funding. Our services are covered through private health insurance, a patient self-funding services or through a referral from the Health Service Executive (HSE).
