New book launching on Group Radical Openness

"Group Radical Openness: An Intervention for Overcontrol" is being released in April 2023.

The book is written by Dr Rachel Egan, clinical psychologist here at St Patrick’s Mental Health Services, and Dr Richard Booth, our former Director of Psychology.

This book explores Group Radical Openness; a group treatment for individuals who struggle with costly and harmful overcontrol. It is aimed at clinicians looking for ways to effectively treat disorders characterised by excessive self-control, such as mood disorders, eating disorders, and certain personality disorders.
