Here 4 U is a new peer support service developed by our Service User and Supporters Council (SUAS) as an online space where people who have a shared experience of mental ill-health can support one another.
SUAS hopes that Here 4 U replicates the experience of meeting friends for a chat over coffee, generating a warm, safe and friendly place to meet others going through similar journeys of mental health recovery.
Sessions are facilitated by trained, volunteer peers; it is not a clinical service and does not provide therapy.
The service, currently in its pilot phase, is open to former service users of St Patrick's Mental Health Services for the moment, with the aim to extend it nationally for anyone interested and who believes they would benefit from it as time goes on.
This second session of Here 4 U takes places from 10am to 11am, and is facilitated by Mary A and Mary B.
