Women's Mental Health Network hosts event on COVID-19 impact

The Women’s Mental Health Network held a webinar on 12 June, 2020, which explored the gendered impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on women’s mental health.

The National Women's Council of Ireland with St Patrick's Mental Health Services held their first online webinar from the Women's Mental Health Network, Unpacking the Impacts: COVID19 and Women's Mental Health. The webinar explored the impacts of the COVID19 pandemic on women’s mental health in Ireland, from different perspectives.

Speakers included Lisa Marmion, Services Development Manager at Safe Ireland, Zoe Hughes, Policy and Research Officer at the Care Alliance, Niamh Grennan from Dublin Lesbian Line, Project Manager with AHEAD Ireland and Liliana Morales, Psychologist with the HSE Psychology Service for Refugees and Asylum Seekers, joined the webinar panel to speak to their experiences from recent weeks.
