The Women's Mental Health Network (WMHN) is hosting an in-person event to spotlight research, projects and initiatives related to women’s mental health.
The event takes place from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Wednesday, 14 October in the Lecture Hall of St Patrick's University Hospital.
Background of event
The WMHN is a collaboration between St Patrick's Mental Health Services (SPMHS) and the National Women's Council (NWC), and aims to be a forum for advancing responses to women's mental health issues.
We are aware of the wealth of talent, expertise and inspiring work amongst the network's members, and this event is an opportunity for members to showcase their work on women's mental health.
The event will bring together network members and others with an interest in women's mental health - including health professionals, people working in research, policy and advocacy, and people with lived experience.
What the event will include
- Presentations showcasing important and interesting work being carried out by our network members within the field of women’s mental health.
- Time to connect and network with others working in women's mental health.
- Updates from the NWC about a new project focused on gender-sensitive mental healthcare.

The event is free to attend but registration is required.
