St Patrick’s Mental Health Services (SPMHS) and First Fortnight invite you to Cistin for an evening of music and storytelling.
“Cistin” is the Irish word for “kitchen”. Here at SPMHS, we are once again partnering with First Fortnight, Ireland’s arts and mental health festival, to welcome you to our ‘cistin’ for a celebration of community and connection through music, poetry and performance.
Cistin takes place from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, 15 January 2026 in the Lecture Hall of St Patrick’s University Hospital, Dublin 8.
The evening will be hosted by award-winning songwriter Kalle Ryan. Poet and writer Kalle will share some of his own original work on the night too. You can also look forward to soulful, genre-blending originals from Cork singer-songwriter Fiona Lucia. Guitarist and singer-songwriter Pádraig Mac Mahon (The Belgian Blue) will travel home from Vienna to perform, his sound and songwriting style molds folk-rock and alt-country with traditional Irish folk influences. Collaboratively the artists will create a gently held space for connection, conversation and music that will make for a very special and memorable evening.
Registration is free but essential. If you are bringing a guest(s), please ensure you also register for tickets for each guest. Register for Cistin here.
