About our adolescent services

Adolescence is a very important time for personal development. Young people can experience emotional or mental health difficulties for the first time in the teenage years.

These can include:

Our adolescent services aim to support young people going through mental health difficulties by helping them to manage their thoughts, feelings or behaviours and to develop coping skills.

We provide inpatient care for young people through our Willow Grove Adolescent Unit, based in Dublin 8. Our Willow Grove team also offers an adolescent Homecare Service, where young people can access 24-hour, comprehensive mental health treatment and one-to-one support from their own homes.

In addition, we provide community-based, outpatient services for young people through our Adolescent Dean Clinic in Dublin and our Dean Clinic Cork.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) teams and GPs from across Ireland, among others, can make referrals to our services.
