Make a referral
As a GP, you can submit electronic referrals or referral forms to make a referral to St Patrick's.
eReferrals
eReferrals can be sent electronically through Healthlink or through your GP Practice IT Management System, such as Socrates or HealthOne.
Select "St Patrick's Mental Health Services" from the private hospital list and then "Psychiatric Referral Service" from departments. After this is completed, our Referrals and Assessment Service will respond.
Referral forms
Download and complete either our adolescent or adult referral form as required.
You can then either:
- Fax the completed form to our Referral and Assessment Service at 01 249 3609; please note that this fax machine is located in a secure area, only accessible by appropriate staff.
- Email the form securely, if you have access to Healthmail, to our SPMHS Healthmail referrals address: referrals@stpatsmail.com
Your patient will either be contacted directly by a member of the Referral and Assessment Service, or a team member may contact you directly to discuss the referral.
