St Patrick’s Mental Health Services provide a range of Day Programmes, aimed at those who are recently discharged from hospital or who require skills and techniques to deal with the mental health concerns unique to them.
Through our Wellness and Recovery Centre/ Day Services at both St Patricks and St Edmundsbury, we offer a variety of day programme options. All programmes are undertaken on a group basis and vary in duration, from 1 week to 16 weeks. Each session is run on a half-day or full day basis.
As part of this service we also offer a cognitive behavioural programme for concerned family members or significant others living with addiction.
The Rapid Access Day Programme is a trans-diagnostic (generic) day programme which aims to provide assessment and treatment as an alternative to inpatient hospitalisation. This open programme is designed for all service users who attend St. Patrick’s Mental Health Services through day care and who are considered to require a high level of mental health support but not requiring inpatient admission. Each service user will have their timetable tailored to their needs and attendance is between 1 and 5 days for a period of up to four weeks.
