St Patrick's Mental Health Services (SPMHS) is delighted to host a lunchtime talk on managing burnout and stress on Thursday, 30 May 2024.

"Managing Burnout And Stress: Is BOSS The Boss Of You?" is supported by Smart D8, a health and wellbeing initiative in Dublin 8. This event, which is open to workers and residents of Dublin 8, takes place in the Lecture Hall of St Patrick's University Hospital, Dublin 8. Lunch will be provided from 12.30pm and the talk will begin at 12.45pm.

In this interactive event, Debbie Van Tonder, Programme Manager of our Dean Clinics, will explore a variety of topics, including:

  • how to identify burnout stress syndrome (BOSS)
  • the different causes of BOSS
  • how to develop stress resilience
  • how to develop healthy coping strategies to decrease burnout and stress
  • how to become the boss of BOSS.

The event is free to attend, and lunch is provided. Limited spaces are available, so registration is essential. You can register for the event here.

We are hosting this talk as part of Smart D8's programme of health and wellbeing events which aim to support people’s health and wellbeing. For more information on this or other Smart D8 events, please email giulia@smartd8.ie.
